I was given the honorary title "Gamegod" back in the '90s. by the local community of gamers that I ran with. It was more about the time put in gaming, rather than about any comment on my skills.
Still, the Nom de Plume stuck.
I started playing video games with dedication in 1976. But I've found evidence I started playing as early as '72 or '73.
My first home console was a Sears Tele-Games Pong machine, if you don't count the little handhelds of the time that ran on 9-Volt batteries.
Since that time, through the Arcade boom, where I spent my time at "The Castle" near Coral Springs FL and every arcade, pizza place, and mom and pop store with an arcade machine; To the home system age, from Atari's, NES, Sega's and finally Xbox lines of consoles.
I have dedicated over 35 years of my life in my spare time to video games.
Now that I am disabled from Meniere's disease, and degenerating myalgia, it's about all I can do anymore.
